How do you stay organized?

It's always fun to know the person asking the QotD. I really wish it was one that I had a good answer for. I try not to tackle too much at one, but being more organized is something I definitely need to work on.

I've got a few favorites, and even different categories.

Who is the very first friend you ever had? Are you still in touch?
The first friend I really remember is Kathy, and yes, we are still in touch. I know we had the same teacher in first grade, but we don't remember each other until second grade. This reminds, me, I should give her a call.

Since I live in the area, I find it amusing. I now want to get myself tickets to a Galaxy game, but suspect that will be difficult for a few months. I heard her TV special was fun, but I missed it both times it aired this week. I'm pretty sure it's up on the NBC website. ;-)
Did you see the Harry Potter movie this weekend? Are you going to read the new book?
I saw the movie on Wednesday, and while I enjoyed it, I did have issues with more than a few things. My main issues were how rushed everything seemed and how people other than Harry referred to Lord Voldemort. It is great to see the world brought to life though.
Of course I'll be reading the new book. I'll be getting it and midnight and then doing nothing but readied (and maybe sleeping) until I am finished, which i expect to be sometime Saturday afternoon or evening. I'm very much looking forward to seeing how it all ends. I've even reread 5 and 6 in preparation.
What do you absolutely refuse to eat?
Alfalfa sprouts are just gross. I can even tell when they have touched other food on my plate, that taste is unmistakable. Other things I can only take in small quantities, like radishes, raw celery, and water chestnuts. Other than that, I'm easy.
What do you always forget to pack?

Usually something silly like an extra top, headphones, or extra batteries. I'm better when I make a list, but even then I often forget one or two little things.
What words, for the life of you, can you never spell correctly?

In your ultimate dream house, what does your favorite room look like?
It's a library and reading room, of course. Lots of overstuffed comfy chairs for curling up in, big windows to catch the sunshine, a fireplace, and walls lined with overflowing bookcases.
